The fear of hardship or loss of happiness over being willing to know and do God’s will increases our hardship a thousand times if not more. Such hardship comes by our own hands; so we should not blame God.
The children of Israel wandered in circles in the wilderness around Mount Zion for eighty years. Moses could not enter the earthly promised land. Jonah was swallowed up into stench, slime, and digestive juices, and taken to depths beyond what was ever thought possible, then barfed up onto a beach to clean up and try again. How did their fear of hardship, loss, and the resulting refusal to surrender to God work out? These events only begin the many many examples of such fear, rebellion, and the results in God’s manual to life.
Our Father in Heaven. We find ourselves lying on a beach near where you had called for us to go. Your waves reach up to begin washing away the stench and pieces of death from the depths that cling. We cry out in praise for your deliverance from our self-imposed condition. You heard our cry from the bottom of the sea and now you wash us with waves on the beach. We plunge into your waves and scrub to remove the slime and infectious bacteria of our rebellion. We remove and stomp it out of our garments. We will seek the fresh water of your Holy Spirit for continued cleansing. We accept the sacrifice of Yeshua (Jesus), the red blood of Your very own Son, which was spilled in place of ours to pay for our rebellion against You. We accept by accepting His way, truth, and life. Our sins are washed away.
Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land; if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured with the sword; for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken.”
Isiah 1: 18 – 20
If you have not prayed such a prayer as the above, or have discontinued; for none have arrived at God’s perfection; please consider and do it. Are you willing to be willing to where Yahweh calls? Or are you still in the boat of unwillingness, inviting life-threatening storms to you and those surrounding you?
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
Matthew 11: 28,29
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid”.
But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
Mt 18:13
I Am Deaf, Mute, Blind, And Lame.
Oh, don’t say that? Really? I don’t see, hear, speak, or walk in mustard seed-sized faith. If I did, there are mountains and trees of turmoil, sickness, and death that would be plucked up with their roots, thrown into the sea, and then sank into the depths to harm no more.
I lay helpless on the side of the path with my beggars blanket of grace; Yeshua, the Messiah is close enough to hear; don’t even try to shut me up.
Waywardness infects me with leprous-like disease; I beat myself up; God, be merciful to me, a sinner!
Our Father; We cry out for mercy, not just for a pass, but for healing from our faithless and sinful ways; from our expectation that things of earth and ways of man can replace the things and ways of your Kingdom.
Heal our minds from thought and hope in things to eat, drink, put on, and everything else on the earth. Heal us from spending our lives and energy on them: to know your fulfillment of our needs and the joy you give immeasurably better than the gain of these could ever accomplish; to give up the pursuit of worldly happiness for the pursuit of doing your will for those we befriend, and so, for you. We bow from our thoughts to yours. We turn from life and religion which is about worldly gain. We confess our sins of hope in the world. Heal us from their rule over us and give us life to serve our neighbor and you. Speak Father, and it is so.
By the healing of your presence, we shall see, hear, speak, and walk in you. The things Yeshua (Jesus) did, we shall do, and greater things than these we shall do, for you, Yeshua, shall live in us by your Spirit to do them as you have said.
By mustard seed-sized faith we will move mountains and trees of turmoil, sickness, and death. They will be plucked up with their roots and thrown into the sea to sink into its depths and harm no more.
The sea will part for us to escape entrapment; the enemy will drown in his pursuit. We will walk on stormy waters and calm the winds that cause them. Our nets will fill; the multitudes will be fed. The sick, blind, deaf, mute, and lame, will be healed; the dead will come back to life, and more things than these we will do just as you have said. The gospel truth will become known in every suppressed culture throughout the earth. Your kingdom will come, and your will done in the lives of all who believe and put their hope and trust in you.
We offer ourselves to you as a living sacrifice. You have already spoken your will; we turn from the empty tomb to see and hear who speaks. Yeshua!
So often, we make the greatest contingency to healing “the will of God.” But does God? Nowhere in the four gospels is the ill told to stay sick for spiritual growth or stability. God’s will to heal is predominant.
Concerning healing, Yeshua (Jesus) said, “I will.” His countless healings, those of the disciples, His love, and His sacrifice overwhelmingly tell us that it is his will to heal us. It’s other things that get in the way.
Here’s the deal. Our Father always desires our wellness. He is love and we are His children. To think less of Him is an insult. But He will use our pursuit of His desire to heal us for working on our faith.
Consider the woman with a daughter that had a demon (Mat 15). Regardless of several hard reasons for her to give up on the goodness of Yeshua, she continued pursuing her daughter’s healing. Every time a hard-core reason to doubt came to the surface, even when it came from the disciples and when it appeared to come from Yeshua, she pressed forward with all her strength! How about the woman with the issue of blood? And many others. None of these said, “maybe Yeshua has a reason not to heal” They simply pleaded for His goodness without clause for rejection; and as they did, their faith in Him grew stronger. And by their faith and trust in Yeshua for the love that He is, they could be receptive to His care and have their healing. And so, they did have it.
What About Paul? (2 Cor:12)
Paul is one example of God allowing an illness to linger. But one case with Paul out of the entire new covenant makes it a rare case.
In the letters to the churches, Paul tells that he prayed for healing three times about an undisclosed illness that had a demonic side to it. He concluded that God wanted to keep him from pride by not removing the demonic harassment that caused his weakness.
Paul’s case is very rare. He had been to the third Heaven and heard things not to be repeated. And his is a very rare case of a reason for God not to heal.
Yet, we quickly latch on to Paul’s case and doubt that God wants to heal. Why? We’ll get to the “why.”
Paul prayed, appealing to Father’s will to heal, not question it. His conclusion was not that Father didn’t want to heal. It was that his faith in Father over pride needed a reminder. And, he didn’t say he gave up on deliverance. He excepted his condition for the time. And this, AFTER he unquestionably heard a reason for it from God.
Here’s a good answer to, “why do I quickly latch on to the rare case of Paul in place of the overwhelming evidence of God’s will to heal now?”
Healing takes faith because we can’t receive what we don’t believe. For faith to grow we must learn, believe, and keep (do) the word of God. Doing the word takes sacrifice and is work, spiritual and physical. Our flesh doesn’t want to do any of that. It’s much easier to say, “I’m like Paul. Im so spiritual that God wants sickness to keep me from getting prideful; maybe God don’t want to heal m,” or something like that. Where ever there’s a maybe, there is no clear message from God.
What Now?
So how can I know? In respect and by faith in God’s love, and by overwhelming evidence, take it for granted that He wants you and those you care for to be healed today. Then remember or learn of the new covenant healing events. Hear and see the souls of those who pursued and were healed. See their their insistent appeal to God’s care and love. Start your campaign to believe and pursue His prepared and waiting love and care to heal. Let nothing distract. Stay focused on Yeshua. Be fervant.
Yeshua s u f f e r e d so much for my healing, and others for whom I bring to Him. His flesh was in shreds. Why oh why do I doubt that He wants us healed now, right now, today? I am asking myself. Will you ask yourself with me? I find so much doubt within. Lord, we confess our sin of doubting your love and this purpose in your sacrifice! We plead for your cleanse and healing from this doubt of your loving will to heal.
We are saved by one event and one only; the sacrifice of Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ). All other activities leading up to, and after salvation are the results of His sacrifice.
If I had to be Baptised to finish the work of my salvation, then the salvation provided by Yeshua would be an unfinished work. At his death, Yeshua said, “It is finished.”
With that absolute truth said; if one is saved, he believes and does his best to understand and do every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, including baptism.
The decision to believe every word of God and do His will is part of having faith in God. By this faith we are saved through the grace of Yeshua paying for the sins which separated us from God. But our faith does not save us. It makes us available for Yeshua’s finished work of salvation.
It’s like Adam and Eve in the garden. While they hid from Yahweh to continue with the good-tasting side of evil, they were unavailable for the provision (sacrifice) for their sins. But when they decided to believe Yahweh, turn away from eve-illness (evil), and answer His call, Yahweh covered their shame (sins). Their answer to Yahweh’s call didn’t provide a covering and save them; Yahweh did. Our faith, baptism, or any other thing that we do doesn’t save us or complete our salvation; our salvation was finished by Yeshua.
Any reasoning that baptism saves or completes salvation belittles Yeshua’s finished work for a person and lowers its effect.
Here is the process that leads to salvation and baptism.
Response to the Holy Spirit concerning our conviction of sin and need for salvation.
Faith – Belief in every word of God.
Repentance – The decision to turn from all sin and struggle against it as it is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit
Salvation – Yahweh adds the finished work of Yeshua.
Baptism – After salvation, we get Baptised In water and by the Holy Spirit. These things we seek and do and invite as instructed because we believe in every word of God. This is part of having faith in God.
And So
I can be saved before I am baptized.
If I am saved, I have faith and believe every word of God. Because of this, I was baptized.
Now, we do not belong to those who turn back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.
There was a woman who could have had many strong reasons to think that Yeshua (Jesus) would not want to remove a demon from her daughter. We don’t know their names, but we’ll call the woman Andromeda, and her daughter, Thalia.
Andromeda’s race was believed to be accursed. They were despised and commonly called dogs. But Andromeda believed Iesous (her Greek for Yeshua) was the Son of David, the savior from the Jewish prophecies. She had heard of many astounding miracles worked by Iesous. Her daughter, Thalia was in the torturous grips of a demon. Andromeda discarded the hovering fear of Jewish rejection and went to plead with Iesous to remove the demon from her daughter.
Andromeda approached Iesous and his disciples. They were worn out and had been trying to hide from the crowds to rest. Now Andromeda was one of them. It seemed to be the worst timing, especially for a Syrophoenician woman to plead a miracle for her daughter!
“No, no, I won’t let the timing stop me!” she told herself as she struggled against the imposing apprehension. Andromeda’s passion for Thalia drove her to cry out to Iesous for His help.
Andromeda cried and cried out for mercy, but Iesois didn’t answer a word. Dread of rejection played its best scheme for Andromeda. She ignored the dread; she would not be ignored if she could help it. Her beautiful daughter had a demon, and Iesous could make it leave!
The disciples of Yeshua grew weary of Andromeda. They cried out over Andromeda’s pleas for Thalia. “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us!” Now, Yeshua’s followers were against her efforts. Apathy and despondency screamed at her. But Andromeda gave them no attention; her attention was fixed on Iesous.
Iesous replied, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Iesous had answered! Ignoring the fear of being rejected, Andromeda’s mind raced for His meaning. He had compared the children of Israel to stupid sheep that easily get themselves lost and tangled in briars. She could see the same condition in herself. With that in mind, she came, knelt before him, and said, “Lord, help me!
Such love, that God would suffer Himself to hold back until we can better see our tangled and lost condition before saying, “Lord help me.”
Iseous answered, “It isn’t right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
Andromeda knew that the Son of David would not be cruel. Again her mind raced for a His meaning. “He meant something other than the common reference to Gentiles as dogs,” Putting His two statements together, she thought “to a shepherd of sheep dogs are important, and they are pets! True, they aren’t given the bread that is meant for children, “but a few crumbs of the Great Shepard’s bread from under the table can remove the demon from Thalia!”
Yes, Lord,” she said, “yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”
Then Jesus replied to her, “Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment her daughter was healed.
This woman, though not a child of Israel, knew and believed scripture concerning Yeshua, The Son Of David.
Against many strong reasons that she should doubt Yeshua would heal her daughter, she set all of her attention on the goodness that she knew about Yeshua and pressed into it without turning back.
How To Have Healing?
Learn the scripture concerning Yeshua. If you haven’t, believe and receive every word of Him. You’ll find that He loves and cares for you as a shepherd does for his sheep; He wants for you to be found, well, and in the protection of His sheepfold.
Once you begin the pursuit of healing for yourself or others, let no lies that God would not want to answer, or that He would want you to be sick, sway you away. He may appear not to hear or to hold back from you, but He does hear and is working through your opposition, spiritual and human, building your faith through it.
When there is a thought of resentment, despise, or vengeance (even a harmful word disguised as a proper warning), there is a need to trust God and forgive.
Forgive
Believe in EVERY word of God (Yeshua). This is the most important decision we can make for all eternity. The ability to know Yahweh personally in a two-way relationship, and to receive forgiveness and healing for our sins begins here.
Confess bad thoughts and feeling toward others toward God. This begins a spiritual cleanse and healing so that we can forgive. (1 John 1:9)
Just say it. Say, “I forgive…” ( ). This is a spoken decision that must be made before bad thoughts and feelings can be removed. Wrong thoughts and feelings go away in time as they are resisted and replaced with the right ones. The ability to do this is part of the healing that begins with confession.
Repair Broken Forgiveness
Refuse bad thoughts toward the person(s). When it reoccurs, forgive again, and again. Re-forgive every time in a day that bad thought happens. Continually nip them in the bud, 490 times a day as Yeshua (Jesus) taught. Yeshua knows who we are. He knew forgiving would take a lot of re-doing. Also, remembering pain is not bad, but when thought upon it is encouraged, it very easily leads to bad thoughts; allow only enough remembrance of pain for caution.
Replace the bad thought and over-remembrance of pain. Overcome it by thinking about something good again and again, and again, 490 (unlimited) times a day when needed. Even small things like daily tasks can be used to replace them. The more important good thoughts of life are best.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise
Phillippians 4:8 NLV
Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Romans 12:21 NLV
Creatures Of The Tree
We are creatures of the forbidden tree of good and evil. We have eaten its fruit, and it has mixed the knowledge and experience of evil with the goodness of God within us. Our faith (complete trust) in Yeshua (the Word of Yahweh) was compromised. We became imperfect, falling from connection, relation, and destination with Yahweh. Our evil side can never be allowed to infect the goodness of His Kingdom.
Eve illness (evil), is a contagious and fatal disease that all mankind has been plagued with. Prolonged death occurs in every part of the mind and body it occupies. Forgiving others can be completed only with healing from Yeshua.
Yeshua is Yahweh with us. He is now with us in the Holy Spirit. The decision to believe every word of Yahweh is the only way to fully believe in Yeshua. By full belief in Him, we can receive Him and become one with Him in these ways, among others.
His torture and death pay for our evil side.
His journey to the abyss with our evil.
His resurrection from the abyss, leaving our evil side with the dead.
His perfection from which we can enter into His Kingdom.
Communication with the Father.
Man can improve. Buy without a full belief in every word of Yahweh, he will eventually be overcome with evil and never be able to fully forgive.
In a nutshell, believe every word of Yahweh. Confess unbelief and its results as they surface. Decide to forgive and say it. Repair recurrence as it happens. Forgiving will develope as part of the “springs of living water” that “flow from your innermost being.”
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
Can you imagine the experience of knowing immeasurable love? I know; you do experience it because Jesus loves you. But I mean, knowing it deeply.
Deeper love can be received, but only after we freely give that measure of love that we know from God, to others.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Yeshua Lk 6:38
Yes, this applies to Godly love more than anything. And even more than to other things in that Godly love is ultimately higher than all things; for God is love.
Immeasurable love is not cheap, and we must buy it to give it away. Though without cost in the monetary sense, it cost our flesh its self-centered life. It cost our preoccupation with self-gratification. Preoccupation with self gets laid down and left behind to care about God and neighbor.
Greater love has no one than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.
Yeshua Jn 15:13
Hmm, having this “greater love,” cost me the very limited worldly life I had achieved, and which I wanted more of. But the return is immeasurable love: love to give and to receive; love more satisfying than anything I could have achieved in a thousand years; love that is the presence of God; living, loving, in and through me.
It’s not that I think Yeshua (Jesus) doesn’t know or care about my trauma. I just don’t know that He should want to help.
Hey, nothing wrong on His part. After all, He has done for me…ya know; His reasons for suffering and all; His pain, for my pain, and everyone else’s pain; I should know that He should want to help me, but I have doubt.
I don’t deserve any help from God. I fall awful short of the perfect love required for help from His glory. But He lowered Himself to come as the man Yeshua and fill the gap left by my failing. He suffered and died to pay for my debts. Just before His dying breath, He said “it is finished.”
Finished helping me?
Well, on the day Yeshua said “It is finished, “He is pierced and bruised for my transgressions and iniquities that go against me today. The discipline for my peace today is on Him. And by His scourging, healing is available for me now. (See Isa. 53:5). The question, “Should Yeshua want to help me?” is already answered. From His conception through His resurrection, along with His heart-wrenching grand finale that stands light tears above all other grand finales, that is the loudest “yes, I should want to help you, and I have helped you,” ever shouted.
Believe and receive; how?
They say I can get through on faith. But faith is knowing and believing, So how can I know and believe the help that God has finished and provides for me now?
It’s “keep on keeping on” for those who follow Yeshua (Jesus); and that, while under pressure! Paul put it this way –
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is callingus.
Php. 3:10 – 14
I can use the pressure of trauma to press (“I press on”) into Yeshua (Jesus) or to run away from Him. It’s up to me, one way or the other. Well, I’m a believer, so there’s only one way to fly. Hmm, the higher ya fly, the less atmospheric pressure you’re under.
So yeah, l choose to let trauma pressure me into pressing on to know Yeshua more. As I press on to know Him, I learn more about who He is and His provisions to help with every detail of my traumas in life.
By pressure, I fight against worldly outs and do all I can to press in and know Yeshua better. And in knowing Him, I know what He wants to do for me and for those I pray for. This is faith. So little I have. But it grows as I press into knowing and serving Him.
Yes, I have chosen to fall miserably in the wrong direction at times. But though it doesn’t justify my wrongs, I have allowed pressure from the self-caused trauma to boot me in the direction of knowing the life of Yeshua even better than I did before.
I can’t receive forgiveness and help that I don’t know or believe Yeshua wants for me. Without knowing, I’m at loss. But I can receive the little that I know. With that, I can then press into His goodness and know more of the forgiveness and help that comes with knowing Him.
Faith is knowing Yeshua, who is the living Word and Son of the Father. The Father and Yeshua are with us in the Holy Spirit. Together they are Yahweh God. He is here. We can take what we know of Him, and from there press in deeper to know more of Him and the things He will do for us and those for whom we pray.
In the Kingdom of Heaven, omnipresence replaces worldly time and space, omniscience replaces worldly knowledge and wisdom, and omnipotence replaces worldly power.
They who are united with Yeshua are united with His omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence. Though they can see only a small portion of these things during this life, they can begin accepting them. They can begin learning how to tap into them, and how to step beyond the limitations of worldly time, space, knowledge, wisdom, and power. When small portions of these are obtained, it is incomparably better than all of the “goodness” that the entire world has to offer.
For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God].
1Cor 13:12. Amp.
In Every Way
The way, truth, and life of Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah, comes to the receptive with an invitation to enter His presence and Kingdom.
Reception by, and entrance into Yeshua is our first step beyond the limitations of this world. While in this world, we are called to live within the world, but no longer of the world (dependent on life from its sources).
Life from above carries with it things from above. Everything we think or do has the potential for freedom from earthly limitations. We can be changed into the likeness and image of Yeshua. All that we do can potentially glorify Him. Our peace, satisfaction, and character can come from Him. Thus, our potential abilities supersede this world.
The least of life from above is impossible to achieve from worldly sources alone. In their right place, miracles are great examples of stepping beyond. But Love is King. Every small thing we do that comes to us from above adds to our love. And love is greater than all, for God is love.
Why do the impossible?
Some doubt that we should do miracles. The say that miracles stopped when the Apostles died. But consider this: if doing the impossible that Yeshua spoke of in John 14 and 15 has already been fulfilled and working miracles is no longer relevant, the rest of His prophetic words in this context, like bearing fruit, and loving one another would have been fulfilled also; and these would no longer be relevant goals. Many rip parts of context out of the Bible to suit their fears or protect their closed borders of understanding and biased opinions.
Counterfeits With Bad Motive
Sure there are and will be many counterfeits. But counterfeit does not prohibit reality.
Most Important
The Bible says that love is more important than working miracles or anything else. Living the Way, Truth, and Life of Yeshua is love. This begins with keeping and doing His word in ways that are earthly possible through each one’s measure of faith.
As we are getting love down to life, Yeshua may lead the willing beyond what is earthly possible into deeper aspects of His presence, beyond what is earthly possible. Why? See John chapters 14 and 15. Notice the meanings of “glorify the Father,” “bear fruit,” and “love.”
On earth, the limits of time, knowledge, and power are binding and limit our ability to love one another, bear fruit, and glorify the Father through miracles or otherwise. The attributes of Yeshua within us annul inherent earthly limitations.
Yeshua says that all things are possible for those who believe in Him and keep His word. How can “all things are possible” be possible? Oneness with Yeshua makes “all things possible.”
Please read John chapters 14 and 15 if you don’t know them well. See His call for those who are filled with the Holy Spirit to step beyond the possible and do greater works than Himself (His words) bearing fruits of love for others in ways that glorify the Father.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is believing in Me, the works that I do—that one will also do, and greater than these he will do, because I go on to My Father.
Yeshua John 14:12 LSV
It is high time (pun intended) we understand that within the time/space, knowledge/wisdom, and power that our Father returns to us as we become one with Him, there is the ability to function within a small portion of the unlimited ways of Heaven.
Yahweh returns to us the things of life that we give up in trade for knowing and serving Him. Included in the return are brush strokes of Heaven. Understanding this is cause for works of faith to appear in His masterpiece. Works that are from beyond this world; both within physical law and, beyond it.
They who truly believe in Yeshua can increasingly step beyond this world by learning more about what it is to be united with Him and by learning more about the good gifts from above that He returns to them.
By learning from the Holy Spirit of Yeshua, the understanding of His Kingdom is enhanced. Understanding enhances faith. By faith, as given by Yeshua, all works of Godly love are possible.
Do you see the keys? Portions of the omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent are within the rewards from our Father as we give up our lives to know and serve Him. Reception of these enhances the faith in Yeshua that is needed to make impossible things possible for us. In other words, these gifts come after giving up personal time, knowledge, and power in trade for knowing and serving Yeshua the Messiah.
He sent them to proclaim the Kingdom of God, and to heal the ailing.
Yeshua Luke 9:2 LSV
Already fulfilled?
Which of the above blessings should not be occurring today? Many say the commission of miracles was fulfilled within a few years, and after that, the commission was to evangelise without miracles. Where do they get that without taking scripture out of context to extract their doctrine? Is there full contextual teaching of that anywhere in the Bible? So much was given to us about living beyond the world in Yeshua, in every way, that it seems very solid contextual teaching would accompany cancelation of any one of the works of Yeshua that we should aspire to be doing. There is none.
Who, then, is the servant, faithful and wise, whom his lord set over his household, to give them nourishment in season? Blessed that servant, whom his lord, having come, will find doing so.
Yeshua Matthew 24:45,46 LSV
... as in Heaven also on the earth.
Yeshua, Matthew 6:10 LSV
As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
Yeshua Matthew 10:7,8 BSB
“So Heavenly-minded, no earthly good.“
Be very careful repeating that phrase. It may be true for those with the wrong motive. But one can easily be placing stumbling blocks before the sincere, cause them harm, slow their growth, and reap the seed planted.
We should encourage being Heavenly minded. Yeshua was the most Heavenly-minded and did the most good on earth ever. Encourage others to be like Him. It’s better to expose pride or wrong motives rather than to discourage being Heavenly minded. The Heavenly-minded are more earthly good because of their self-sacrificing love. A more accurate phrase is “so worldly-minded, little heavenly good.”
The Greatest Of These Is Love
...and now there remains faith, hope, love—these three; and the greatest of these [is] love.
1Cor 13:13
All roads within Yeshua; the Way, the Truth, and the Life, lead to Love. For God is Love. Stepping beyond the world into the impossible should be a small thing in comparison to our dream to love God and our neighbor. If not for love, our motive for stepping beyond fails us. Be for love, freedom to step beyond the limitations of earth knocks on the door. Love never fails because God never fails. Stepping beyond is simply a box of tools we can use to love God and our neighbor. It is possible. We can do for others things they need and can’t do for ourselves.
…in this will all know that you are My disciples, if you may have love one to another.”
John 13:35
So He replied, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
Yeshua Luke 7:22 BSB
We can be one with Yeshua Messiah doing the works He did and more. He never stopped. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
All of these things can be said by those who are saved and going to Heaven after living on the earth.
I believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is Lord; not by title only, but I believe every word He has spoken.
Since I believe in Yeshua, I work and pray for understanding His every word.
I work and pray for healing of heart, mind, soul, and body that I may follow every word of Yeshua that I understand.
I believe every word that procedes out of the mouth of Yahweh God has, whether I understand it or not.
I pray for understanding so that I can trust and work at doing all that He says, and work at repentance from all I do that is against Him.
I admit and confess to God when I go against ANYTHING He has said.
I do not avoid Him by avoiding His People.
I believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the prophesied Messiah (the Christ and Savior).
I believe that Yeshua the Messiah is the Son of Yahweh God, and the Son of man, conceived from God by the Holy Spirit of God and that He was birthed by a virgin woman, Mary.
I believe that Yeshua the Messiah is the living Word Of God, that He was made into flesh, and that every word of His is the perfect Word Of Yahweh God.
I believe Yahweh God is omnipresent; while remaining as the Father in Heaven, He came to us in the Spirit and flesh of Yeshua (Jesus); and He (Yahweh) comes to us now as Yeshua, in the Holy Spirit.
Out of every possible circumstance, Yahweh knows what our future choices will be. Within His gift of free will, He arranges for our past, present, and future circumstances to lead us to our self-chosen conclusions. To those who will conclude to believe EVERY WORD of Yahweh, He uses circumstances, good or bad, for leading them to believe Him and accept His provision for going to Heaven.
Through God’s grace and mercy, we are saved by faith. Faith is believing every word of God without reserve for any kind of opposing beliefs. Through this kind of faith, Yahweh gives His perfect rightness through which we can enter the perfection of Heaven, separated from our imperfections.
What about present and future fails?
When we believe God without reserve and see our doubt and sin as a failure, our spirit maintains an unreserved belief in God and is divided from the sin of our flesh. For those who believe In Yahweh without reserve, the sin of their flesh died with Yeshua the Savior; the spirit is resurrected with Him. By unreserved belief in Yahweh God, we maintain faith in God. By faith, we are saved through grace and are accepted in Heaven
Freewill Conclusion
This reading is a circumstance that Yahweh has brought you to for encouraging your will toward unreserved belief (faith) in all that He is. He directs you to His word (Yeshua) for full belief, and to who He desires for you to be; one who believes every word of Yahweh.
Please pray with me.
Our Father in Heaven, I choose this day to believe in every word that you brought to us in Yeshua. I receive your word – Yeshua, holding nothing back from now on for all time and beyond. All of your word; your way, truth and life that you brought to us in Yeshua is good and right. I receive death to my unbelief with you in Yeshua, and resurrection from the grave to life with you in Yeshua.
I will struggle against the doubt and sins of my flesh and lower nature, confessing my sins to you for forgiveness and healing. Be merciful to me a sinner. I believe you, Father, help me from my unbelief.
I thank and praise you for providing the escape from my lower nature (flesh) through the spilled blood of Yeshua the Savior.
Children’s minds and will are being stolen on a massive scale. From the time they can watch a screen and then go to school they are being programmed to run from the control of God, parents, and self at the first opportunity. Beyond childhood, the seduction increases.
Roaring Lion
Who is doing this? All who do not believe and serve Yeshua. And, those believers who stray away.
Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour
1 Pet 5:8
Tools
We are tools in the hands of whom we believe. No matter what we do, it comes from believing either Yahweh or Satin, and it serves to accomplish the work of one or the other; Yahweh for life, or Satin for death.
Most
Most of the world: corporations, governments, individuals, and even the so-called church, function from self-interest in place of believing in Yahweh God. Yeshua, (the Word of God) gets ignored or placed second to self. And so, most of mankind works for Satin purposefully or unawares. We serve one or the other.
For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:14
Sacrifice, myself, or the children?
Do I sacrifice my pursuit of self-gratification to be with the children to teach, protect, and train them in the way of Yeshua; or do I sacrifice the children to the media, schools, government programs, and way of the world to make it convenient for me to find gain and pleasure? Do I trust in Yahweh (the Father, Yeshua, and Holy Spirit) for peace and happiness? Or do I ignore Him and make excuses for putting Him on the ‘later’ list? Do I give my life to love the children with Yeshua kind of love that sacrifices my self-interest? Do I press into the high calling of God to be a tool in the hands of Yahweh preparing the children for a victorious life in Him, protecting the children from the seductions of Satin? Do I sacrifice my time to pray for them?
We are offered the banquet of the word, the oil of the Spirit, the talents, the pearl of great price, the foundation of stone, the good seed and ground, and mountain-moving faith. What is my first intention of use for them; myself, or the children and others?
Our children have most of the world against them. Satin prods their enemies to lead them away from our Father, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit. We are their first line of defense if we will pick up our cross and follow Yeshua to protect and nurture them.
The very name of Yeshua (Jesus) means: “Yahweh saves.” Yeshua is presently at work saving those who believe and receive Him. He is saving them from all that opposes His Way, Truth, and Life, and the resulting torment. This includes anxiety. Yeshua is saving them from anxiety now as well as in the future.
Beauty For Ashes
I give you peace, the kind of peace only I can give. It isn’t like the peace this world can give. So don’t be worried or afraid.
Yeshua (Jesus) John. 14:27
4Rejoice in the LORD always; again I will say, rejoice! 5Let your reasonableness be known to all men; the LORD [is] near; 6be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
PHP 4:4-7 LSV Paul – Written from a Roman prison.
When? Today
For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
2 Cor 6:2
Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Rom 10:13
Saved From?
Among all other chains of Hell; Yeshua saves from fear and anxiety.
The Power Of Yahweh
See John chapter 14. See that Yahweh (the Father, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit) loves and lives within those who believe and keep His word. With Yeshua living inside of us, all things are possible, including amazing peace. See how giving up our distracted life to love and know Yahweh God and one another gives Yeshua cause to reveal Himself to us for who He is! FAITH IS KNOWING God AND WHAT HE IS DOING. By faith all things are possible.
You see, the healing knowledge and presence of God take us far beyond replacing anxiety with peace into healing and power for every need.
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is believing in Me, the works that I do—that one will also do, and greater than these he will do, because I go on to My Father; and whatever you may ask in My Name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in My Name I will do [it].
John 14:12-14 LSV
Ok, so how do I get this “healing knowledge” and “presence of God?”
It takes a revealing of God from His Holy Spirit. Yeshua spoke clearly when and how this happens.
21He who has my commandments and obeys them—he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will clearly reveal myself to him.” 22Judas (not the Iscariot) 23“If any one loves me,” replied Jesus, “he will obey my teaching; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
Yeshua John 14:21-23
I strongly encourage knowing John chapter 14 extremely well. These are practically the Son of Man side of Yahweh’s dying words. They are overflowing with powerful truth for all who are willing to give up their life to save them. I hope you can see how to have the healing knowledge and presence of God in the above three verses.
Dessert
Yahweh is not the author of anxiety. But He has likely used it to help you see more clearly for being enlarged in Him and His peace.
Psalm 4 is eight verses. See how David understood that Yahweh was working through the adversity (anxiety) that David experienced to enlarge him and bring him into peace.
…O God of my righteousness. In adversity You gave enlargement to me …And know that YHWH || Has separated a saintly one to Himself. YHWH hears in my calling to Him. …Together I lie down and sleep in peace, || For You, O YHWH, alone, || Cause me to dwell in confidence!
Why do we wait? Our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace, is here with us. He is here within the living Word and Holy Spirit, sent to us from our Father in Heaven.
His life is before us to choose moment by moment. Each moment we are free to choose the way, truth, and life of Yeshua (Jesus). He can calm the terrible storms, keep us afloat, and guide us to our destination.
But we, in panic, bail troubled water from our little boat while torrents crash over the gunnels. Desperately we try to keep afloat in our way, placing our faith in worldly ways and temporal things, while Jesus walks calmly on the barrage of stormy waves, calling…
Where is your faith?
Yeshua Lk 8:25
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Yeshua Mt 11:28
“Keep on asking, and you will receive. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
No amount of good deeds, church, or rituals will be considered for going to Heaven. For any of these to matter as we stand before the Lord, they must be the result of death to the will to continue in any kind of sin, and a rebirth into the will and word of God (Jesus), not an attempt to bypass Him.
Faith (belief in all of His ways) in the Word of God (Yeshua)) is the only thing that will cause God to accept us. Otherwise, there is no separation from the will to sin. The will for sin will not be allowed in Heaven.
Entrance into Heaven begins now.
Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of Salvation
Paul 2 Cor 6:2
The perfect goodness of Heaven is here with us. It is unseen without faith. But it’s doors are open for those who are willing to see and believe in it.
For the Kingdom of God is already among you
Jesus Luke 17:21
Entrance into the perfection of Heaven begins while still on earth, before a physical death of our body. It happens by a substitute death; the death of a want to believe and continue in any way against the will of God. A death accepted by Yeshua (Jesus) the Savior, and carried out with His body.
Like with Adam and Eve, by turning away from the evil of doubting Yahweh to respond to His call, we allow for our inborn faith to lead us back to fully believing in God. This faith holds no will to doubt any of God’s word. When we allow our faith to turn us from doubt to believing and responding to the full will of Yahweh God, He provides for our separation from sin. By our faith in Him, we join Him and die to sin with Yeshua on the cross. Yeshua’s blood is payment for the sin of all who respond to God’s call, turn from doubt, and fully turn to the truth of His word. In so doing, they join Him in every way, including His crucifixion, and share with Him His resurrection into His Kingdom.
Yahweh God, within His Word that was made into the flesh of Yeshua the Savior, died to take our will to sin away. But He had no sin of His own that Hell could hold. So He could rise from the dead. We who responded to His call to fully believe in Him died with him and rose from the dead with Him. In oneness with Him, we share His perfection. By His perfection, we can enter into His presence and kingdom while yet in this life, and continue with Him into the next.
They who refuse to recognize and gather with followers of Jesus, reject Yeshua Messiah (Jesus).
Whatever you did for the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for me.
Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.
Jesus – Matthew 25:40,45.
Gathering together for ritual, duty, biblical knowledge, biblical philosophy, loyalty to a religious denomination, or a means to success in the world will never replace the gathering of true believers of Jesus Christ; believers who humble themselves before all of His words.
Stand before God to be corrected. Run to Him to be moved. Let nothing be unquestionable to God.
The lost silver, the pearl of great price, the treasure hid in a field; these are the true riches; they are not of this world; all of these can be found within the gathering of Christ’s followers, for Yeshua Messiah can be found within these.
Great Treasure is hard to find.
For many are called, but few are chosen. Ask and keep asking, and it will be given to you; seek and keep seeking, and you will find; knock and keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Yeshua – Matthew 22:14, Luke 11:9
Two or three gathered in the name of Yeshua are more important to you than a thousand who are gathered to play Jesus for his benefits. Organizations can be mostly Okay, or not so. Find the few chosen believers who gather in the name of Yeshua, the Living Word of God.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.
Yeshua – Matthew 18:20
The riches that are of Heaven can give joy, peace, and other rewards that are high above the knowledge of this world. They can be found in Yeshua. And Yeshua Messiah can be found in His true people.
It is necessary and rewarding to walk with Yeshua one on one. But without love for one another in whom He lives, one cannot love Him. Loving those in whom Jesus lives determines how much one can love and walk with Him one on one.
Feelings of Godly love are good. But without action, reception is incomplete, limited, and loses power. Without correction, it converts into an insincere play for getting benefit from Jesus.
The cause? A blinding dependency on some other way than Yeshua Medsiah for relief or satisfaction.
The cure? Admission and confession to Yeshua. He promises forgiveness and a miracle cure. Are you slow to receive the forgiveness and cure? Yeshua,s promise to forgive and cure is good for all of the times in a day that are needed.
This is my commandment: love each other in the same way I have loved you.
Faith in Yahweh is to see, hear, trust, and believe Him. By the choice to practice these, they increase. By the choice to ignore them, they diminish.
Loss of faith in Yahweh is a loss to the soul.
With the choice to live what is known of God, faith increases.
The faithlessness of others causes faith to to be seen, and show the way; just as darkness reveals a candle.
Darkness reveals a candle but does not increase it.
As the known will, life, and works of Yeshua (Jesus) are practiced, they become more clear. Ignored and left behind, they fade and become lost from sight and hearing. Loss of faith is loss to the soul.
When the truth hurts, it has been heard; when ignored, It has not been heard.
Held closely and practiced, truth heals and gives eternal joy. If rejected for temporary pleasure or relief, truth gets lost from sight and hearing.
I am the way, the truth, and the life. Yeshua
Confession and repentance before God is the first step for holding on to truth; as practiced, God’s promised forgiveness brings sight, hearing, and faith back to the soul.
Faith and Joy come when Yahweh is seen and heard.
Thoughts of man or ritual will not reveal faith. Faith is a God-given knowledge of Him and his works. To those who live in their known faith, Yahweh gives the revelation of more faith. When there is no effort to live in known faith, the revelation of it is taken and given to another.
Your word is you, going out for your cause and effect. Yahweh’s Word is Himself going out to do His works. Yeshua (Jesus) is God’s Word, speaking His will to us personally, and doing His work.
Acceptance and practice of Yahweh’s word (Yeshua) opens eyes and ears to the revelation of more truth. Truth revealed is an increase of faith. Truth lived is the exercise of faith. Increase comes with exercise.
Chosen ignorance of Yeshua who is the way, the truth, and the life of Yahweh is a rejection of Him. Rejection of Him also rejects His mercy and payment for our sin. Without the payment and separation from sin, no man can enter into the sinless Kingdom of Heaven.
Though a faithful man fails a thousand times, his faith will continually bring him to repentance and confession of sin. His reception of God’s promised mercy, cleansing, and healing become renewed, and his soul is restored.
Yeshua (Jesus) appears within the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. We answer His call and follow His lead. We experience Yahweh God.
We continue struggling against our imperfections, turning away from them, following, tasting, and seeing that life from Yahweh God is good beyond all that could be gained from the world. Now, we experience God on a new level.
The world calls from behind. “I have perfumed my bed and sweetened my fruit. Oh, remember the relief I gave, God is too lofty for you! You are too weak, you need my pleasures; you can’t survive without them!” She beggs with lies and sets her traps.
The storm rages, fear sets in, and like Job, we sink. Swallowed by storm, sea and monster fish, we breathe the foul air of doubting Yahweh’s call. But we still breathe. The horror of being eaten, slowly digested, and knowing no way out, has become a way out.
From the belly of the fish that carried us to inescapable depths, with corrosive slime and stench all about us, we again heed the resounding call of Yeshua; “Come to me all of you who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Mt. 11:28). We turn back to Him, believing Him. We experience God on a new level.
We find ourselves barfed up on a beach like Job. We Breathe the air of the Holy Spirit and dive into His waters, being washed from the slime and stench. We walk in the Spirit, walking with God to do His will. We experience God on a new level.
Daily we learn to keep walking in the Holy Spirit, holding on to our belief in all of Yeshua’s ways, intent on overcoming and confessing all indifference and failure. And so daily the Holy Spirit of Yahweh works with us, healing us. Daily we experience the beauty and glory of knowing God on new levels.
As we grow within the Holy Spirit, our eyes are increasingly opened to Yeshua and what He is doing. As we use what we see of Him, loving and serving God and our neighbor, doing His will, more of His love, wisdom, and power are revealed to us. And we experience Yahweh God on new levels continually.
Job heard God’s rebuke out of a fearsome whirlwind. He heard Gods favor during peace.
Jonah heard God’s rebuke while being swallowed into the slimy stench and discomfort of the belly of a fish. After being barfed up, He heard God’s direction in the comfort and joy of a beach by the ocean.
God got Elijah’s attention by the threat of Jezebel, a wind that blasted rocks lose, an earthquake, and fire. But to give Elijah direction and power to achieve greater things, God spoke in a whisper.
Yeshua uses the wind, quakes, and fires of life for moving us to give up trusting in our way and give our attention to Him and listen for his gentile and joyful Spirit to guide us on to greater service.
Our Father, no matter the conditions, we decide to be still, listen for your quiet counsel, and believe it completely. Give us strength when we do not.
Saving Faith is believing every word of God. The word of God was made into the flesh of Jesus the Messiah; God came to earth and spoke to us through Him.
“…blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it.” Yeshua Messiah Lk. 11:28
The Gift Of Faith The things we do, or not, can be part of knowing that we’re going to Heaven. But there is nothing that we can do to qualify. By faith in Jesus, we qualify, but even that is a gift from Him. Jesus gives this faith to those whom He knew beforehand would choose to believe Him. He directs the circumstance that leads them to the choice of believing Him once and for all of eternity.
I can know that I’m going to heaven because I believe in God without reserve. I believe Him to the extent that I continually search for His Way, Truth, and Life, and call on Him for healing from every indifference to what He has said. This is having faith in God; this is what it is to receive his word, Yeshua the Messiah.
In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jn. 1:1
The Word became flesh and lived among us. Jn. 1:14.
Just as the word of your voice is you, vocalized, Jesus, who is the word of God, is God, vocalized. He was made into a man and spoke to us. Believing in His word is having Faith in God.
From such a faith, one searches and finds the way God has provided for imperfect man to be separated from his imperfections (sin), and allowed into His perfect Kingdom; separated, not because one achieves enough self-control, but because the spirit of a person has become willing to hear, believe and follow God’s Way, Truth, and Life. And to believe Him despite the battle with weak flesh that is overcome with God’s help and healing in time.
From the time of Adam and Eve, placing our complete faith in the Way, the Truth, and the Life of Yahweh God, and thus Jesus, has been our part for entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let’s look at how Adam and Eve were given assurance to their hope of a return to the Kingdom of Heaven after placing their faith in the voice (Words) of Yahweh God. But first, we’ll review what having faith in God is.
Faith is knowing without a doubt. To have faith, in general, is choosing to believe what we know. To have faith in God is to believe all that we know about him. To know and ignore the goodness of God, and habitually stray from His word without repentance, is to oppose having faith in God.
Jesus Christ (the savior) is the voice (word) of God. He was God’s spoken word that created the universe long before he came into the world as a man and is God’s word in the world today within and through the Holy Spirit. Having Faith in God is to believe, receive and work at living His word – Jesus the Messiah. This is true for those who have believed in Jesus through reading the bible and it’s teachings, and those who have not heard of the bible or teachings, but believe his Spirit as Jesus speaks of His oneness and goodness through nature and conscience.
Adam and Eve
In the story of Adam and Eve, we can understand the process of a return to faith in God, and separated from imperfection (sin) and death, to be restored to life in God.
When Adam and Eve had doubted God and turned from him to follow the lies of Satin and enjoy the knowledge and flavor of the forbidden fruit (the good-tasting side of evil), God had to remove his Holy spirit, from their spirit. They were no longer willing recipients of his holiness. He would not force His Holy Spirit upon them. The spirit of evil and the spirit of God could not mix. The most important; God-given, God enlivened, God connecting, recipient of the Holy Spirit part of their being, their faith in the perfection of God, had died!
They had rejected: the word of God; the bread of life; the way, truth, life; and the chief cornerstone to the building of God’s people. God lives in his word, and his word lives in him. They had rejected His word, and so, rejected Yahweh God. Though forbiddance from the tree was only one of the countless things God had spoken, this one doubt and action had broken their faith and tie with God. From that time, they hid from God, and their sin multiplied.
But in his great love, Yahweh made a plan. He would make the word-part (voice) of his being, the word they had rejected, into a man. The man would be from his own seed, His only Son. And he would also be a son of man, from the womb of a woman, His only begotten Son. In his Son, God would present his holy word for all of mankind to believe and receive once again. He would make the Holy Spirit of his word available to receive through a renewed reception and full faith. His son would become a sacrifice that would suffer and pay the eternal death penalty for all who turn away from rejecting his word and turn back to believe and receive him. He would take their sins away to the abyss and leave them there. And because of his own perfection, he could rise from that awful place carrying all who receive and thus join him into his kingdom, leaving their faults be behind.
How Long Is Too Long?
We aren’t told how long the season was that Adam and Eve enjoyed the good-tasting fruit of sin. The fruit tasted good, and they may not have wanted to give it up for a long while. And since Yahweh is so fearsomely powerful, in their shame and doubt of his honesty and love, they could have been hiding from and ignoring His call for a very long time. The spirit behind sin is an expert at deceit, selfish pleasure, and convincing doubt of God.
What we do know is that eventually Adam and Eve responded to God’s call. Though their spirit of faith in God had died, Yahweh continued to approach their world and call for their return home to fellowship with Him.
After their fall, Adam and Eve still had their souls. And their dimming souls yearned for the spirit of God. The darkness of sin was quenching their soul’s light, and a deathly illness was upon it. Though the fruit of sin had tasted so good, it held no shadow to the Holy Spirit of God. They grew to become ashamed of tasting evil and were in fear of what God would do. They had tried to cover the exposure of their sin with fig leaves to become more presentable to God and restore some favor from him. But the sin that was part of them now could not be covered or mixed with the Holy Spirit of Yahweh.
Becoming more presentable by their efforts to cover their shame and doubt could not make them good enough for the holiness of God. They had chosen a different father to believe and follow. They could not cover up the exposure of his knowledge.
The call of Yahweh God
It was the cool of the day. Yahweh God strolled sadly through the garden calling for Adam. Hearing him, the man and his wife hid among the trees of the garden. Dread of more death overwhelmed them. ‘Adam, where are you?’ Yahweh called.
Adam now had to decide. Reject The call of Yahweh God (again?) and enjoy the pleasure of sin for as long as he would allow, or reason with him in hope of his mercy and a way back to the joy and glory of his favor. He decided to turn from the good tasting side of evil, answer Yahweh’s call, and reason with him. They would rather face the righteous judgment of Yahweh than continue following the deathly lies of Satin. Perhaps the loving mercy of Yahweh would provide a way back to truth and life.
Reasoning with God
Adam was only partially honest about why they had hid. Both were partially honest about why they had doubted Yahweh and disobeyed.
But Yahweh looked beyond the stain of evil that had caused their sin and dishonest excuses. He saw their renewed faith that made them willing to reason with him and receive his words. Because of their renewed faith, weak as it was, he made a way for them to be separated from their sin, re-enter his rightness, and receive his Holy Spirit. Their lifeless spirit could be re-born.
God proves his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
We know that Adam and Eve returned to having faith in God because: they turned from sin to believe in what they had known about His goodness; they feared righteous judgment, answered his call, and allowed him to reason with them. They agreed that God had been completely right. They knew that their fearless disobedience had been wrong, and they admitted it.
Believing fear of God’s righteous judgment along with answering his call to reason with him, reveals faith in his word. By faith, we are saved through God’s grace.
Am I going to Heaven? Do I have the renewed faith that Adam and Eve had; the kind of faith that delights Yahweh into looking beyond my poor and dishonest excuses? Do I have the provided coverage that separates me from the good and bad taste of evil? Do I listen for God’s presence and answer “yes” when he calls for me to reason with him?
No man can be good enough for going to Heaven.
Goodness is a result of salvation. But salvation can not occur from being good enough enough. “Good enough” reveals residual sin. If the sinful self could enter Heaven, then Heaven would no longer be a perfectly good place. Sin is rightly banned. There is no way to be good “enough” to go to Heaven. Without the perfect goodness of God’s word being received through faith in him, the least of sin would prevent us from his Kingdom. Sin must be separated from us.
Escape from spiritual death.
Within their time of enjoying sin, Adam and Eve also experienced the death of their spirit and the emptiness of losing their walk with God. The taste of heir new master’s “good” fruit faded. They continually craved more just to calm the pain of their anxiety. Yahweh had been right. They were dead to his spirit and sought for a way to return. Their attempt to cover their shame with fig leaves to conceal it and look good enough for God did not work. The sinful nature of their flesh was exposed. It could not be present in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Though they had hidden from God in shame, they returned to believing all of His words (this is the beginning of the return to having faith in God). When they answered his call to reason with him (their faith at work), he covered them with a tunic that he made with the skin of an animal. This cover represented Jesus the Savior. Their sins were taken away; they could receive his Holy Spirit; their spirit was reborn and given life from the spirit of Yahweh. Though they now had to live in a world cursed by sin, through the Holy Spirit, they could walk with God again.
From the time of Adam and Eve, until Judgment day, unreserved faith in God is our way to receive God’s provision of Yeshua’s body and blood to pay for and cover our sin. Having faith in Yahweh is the only way He will apply the body and blood of Yeshua to us. He will not apply it to anyone who rejects his word (way, truth ,and life) to continue in sin after knowing better, thus trampling his blood under their feet. But he will forgive and cleanse us five hundred times a day as we ask for it out pf trust and belief in His way, truth, and life. Through God’s grace and mercy, like Adam and Eve, we’ve been allowed to turn from our sin, return to loving God, and have faith in him as many times as it takes in a day for us to overcome the “good” taste of sin. When we return to faith in him, he joyfully appropriates the body and blood of Yeshua to stand in place of our dead body and spirit. He covers our sin and accepts us into his kingdom. Every time we are forgiven of sin, we are forgiven and cleansed and become stronger to resist it.
How it works
God provided the way to be separated from our sinful human side so that we can enter into His Kingdom today and be accepted on judgment day.
How did Yeshua take our place in spirtual death?
While maintaining his place in Heaven as Father, the Holy Spirit of God placed his seed,he seed of His word, in a woman (Mary) to be born as the Son of God and also as the Son of Man. His name is Yeshua.
Yeshua came to earth as –
The living word of God (The way, the truth, and the life).
The son of God (God, within his spoken word, made into a man).
The Son Of Man (God, born of a woman, a man like us).
The sinless sacrifice for our sin. (In his death, Jesus took sin away from all those who have faith in, receive, and become one with him).
Yeshua came to regenerate the spirit of all who are willing to be in full agreement with him. He breathes his Holy Spirit into their dead spirit. They are re-born into his Kingdom.
Due to Yeshua’s goodness and perfection, those who believe in him have their penalties paid for by his blood. Their sins are dead to them. Their spirit is born again. They have the right to become the sons of God. They are resurrected with him and are now sitting with him in spirit at the right hand of the Father in Heaven!
Through a complete belief (faith) in the Lord Yeshua, and therefore God, we become engaged in marriage to him, us in Him and He in us. His life, death, and resurrection are effective in us. His spirit re-births our spirit. We are free from sin and death. We have entered his kingdom, and so long as we choose to return, we are of the chosen on judgment day.
How do I believe God that much?
Believe everything that you know about the one true God; everything, without exception. That’s all he asks. Start there. Determine to cry out to him for help and healing when you fail. See “Addiction, The sure Cure” on this site for God’s promised cure for any kind of sin. Miraculous help is promised.
Because of their desire and faith, Yeshua receives the faithful for engagement in marriage. The love is so strong that they are already becoming joined. His saving works of life, death to sin, and resurrection into his Kingdom become theirs as they live within Him.
Don’t know much?
God adds more working knowledge and understanding of Himself (faith) when we follow him according to the amount of faith that we already have, no matter the measure. To have faith in God is to believe what we know of him and to walk in it. As we walk in faith, the blood of Yeshua covers the sin that blinds us. As sin is covered by Yeshua, our eyes get opened. Then we can see and understand more about God. This is added faith. Seeing more of God, we see more love, love to have and use. As we apply our love to God and neighbor, God increases it.
I knowI’m going to Heaven because
Can you say this with me?
I fear God in a way that reveals faith in his judgment.
I listen for God and turn from my sinful life to answer his call and reason with him concerning my condition. (This reveals faith in his word).
Yahweh God looks beyond my sin to see my faith in him. Because of my faith, he provides a garment of rightness that he bought with the body and blood of his only begotten Son. The body and blood of Yeshua take my sins away to the grave.
I receive the Lord Yeshua the Word of Yahweh God who was made flesh and lived among us. I choose to trust and follow his words in every way. When I fail and sin, I will listen for his call to reason with him and believe his cleansing words.
Prayer
Our Father in Heaven. I turn away from the good and the bad taste of my sins to listen for you, reason with you, and believe every word you say concerning my condition. Thank you for looking beyond my dishonest excuses, and all of my other sins, to honor my faith in you, and to clothe me with your life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Yeshua the Savior.
Faith in the one true God gives an assurance of the life in the Kingdom of Heaven that we hope for. The good work of love that faith produces is evidence of the Kingdom of Heaven in our life on earth; the kingdom that is not seen with human eyes.

Am I reasonable? Can I calmly discuss differing opinions without turmoil? Am I able to consider them? And when I do consider the opinion of others, do I consider it from their viewpoint or strictly from my predefined understanding?
The answer to these questions determines the extent of my ability to reason with others, including God.
“Come, let us reason together, says the Lord.”
THE POWER OF REASON
The power of reason is power for healing and change. Change requires knowing our need for it, especially in the sense of being healed by God. Reason allows God to show us what is right to pursue and harmful to hold; and then with our knowledge and agreement, to empower us in our pursuit of his goodness, and heal us to let go of what is harmful. Nothing in this world is so sweet to feast on.
Ability
If I am unreasonable with finite people, how can I reason with God who is infinite? And, how can I expect God to reason with me?
Okay, so how can I become reasonable?
The Bible repeatedly says, “whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” Besides eternal salvation, calling on Jesus is way the way to his help for being led into his goodness and saved from our daily weaknesses.
Admitting and confessing our sin of obstinance (being unreasonable) to God and neighbor, and calling on Jesus to save us from it gains his faithful and sure forgiveness and cure. 1 John 1: 9.
Being habitually unreasonable is an addiction. See the article “Addiction – The Sure Cure” on this site for detail on how to be cured.
TIME AND REASON
I must take the time to reason with God and man. All things on earth require time. How much of my life will I give up for making time to reason with God. And then to confess revealed sins to Him, and be forgiven, cured, and become more reasonable with Him and with man.
Taking time to reason With God and man can become a sweet and rewarding habit.
“No greater love has a man than this, that he lay down his life (including his time and opinions) for his friends”
Jesus
There is no better time than the present. Don’t worry about tomorrow. Today is the day of salvation, now is the acceptable time.
No use?
No use, I’ll fail again soon? Don’t tell Yeshua his work is no use.
Yeshua said to forgive one another 490 times in a day. In other words, without limit. He does the same for us. Just confess your sin to Yeshua as many times a day that you fail. Each time he forgives us, our cure grows deeper, and so does our faith.
Prayer
Lord Yeshua thank you for helping me see my need to be more able to reason with you and with man. I am excited to know that through your forgiveness, I am being healed. I look forward to times of reasoning; sweet, bitter, and both at the same time; because I know that I will grow in the knowledge of you and experience more living and giving of your marvelous love.
The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which is to speak against Him. Persistence in sin after the Holy Spirit had made the sin clear, speaks against the Holy Spirit. It is impossible to restore a person to repentance and forgiveness of sin while he continues to remain in that state of mind (Heb 6:4-7). But with a change of belief and work toward living what Yeshua has made clear (repentance), there is forgiveness and restoration provided by Yeshua (Jesus); the one who saves.
But repentance is impossible! –
Yes, while one chooses to continue in rebellion against the Holy Spirit.
And whoever may speak a word against the Son of Man it will be forgiven to him, but whoever may speak against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is coming.
Matthew 12:32
For if we willfully persist in sin after having received the full knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains in reserve any other sacrifice for sins. There remains nothing but a certain awful expectation of judgment, and the fury of a fire which before long will devour the enemies of the truth.
Hebrews 10;26,27
Speaking against Yeshua (Jesus), man can be forgiven. But when the Holy Spirit of Yeshua gives an understanding of who He is, beyond being a human being, and gives an understanding of His will, and the understanding is continually rejected in trade for bad fruits, and there is no will to change the belief that the sin is better to hold than holding the Holy Spirit of God, it is an ongoing blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Such action speaks out against the Holy Spirit. Action speaks loud and clear. Once we have heard from the Holy Spirit, our response to Him speaks either for or against Him. One forbidden fruit wilfully clung to and continued, causes separation from the Kingdom of Heaven; God will have none who hold on to sin in place of Him in His Kingdom.
Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad, for from the fruit is the tree known.
Matthew 12:33
If we confess our sins, He is so faithful and just that He forgives us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 WEY
“Can not be forgiven” does not have to mean “Never.” –
I could persist in a hard-core insistence that Yeshua and Paul meant “no forgiveness, ever.” But I look at the whole Bible and the meaning that fits, starting with the book of Genesis.
Adam and Eve had known all that Heb. 6:4,5 says when they turned from Yahweh. We don’t know how long they remained in rebellion. But we do know that when they decided to turn back to Him and answer His call, they were allowed to do so.
Jonah was allowed to change his heart to believe and trust Yahweh. The lost lamb had been one of the flock; the prodigal son had known his father’s goodness; their action had spoken against the Holy Spirit, yet they were alowed to complete their faith in God and return to Him.
Yes there are many opposite examples. God knows the heart and who will never answer His call to return to completed their faith.
One can not be forgiven while persisting in known sin. There remains no sacrifice for that. But with repentance, in this life, from ANY KIND of sin, God is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us. Hallelujah!
One can repent (change the mind) from refusing to heed the Holy Spirit simply by choosing to believe in the way, truth, and life of Yeshua completely. This is how. Admit and confess that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Son of God, and that He is Lord (right, true, master, God) truthfully instead of merely giving Him titles. Then, once in agreement with Yeshua completely, confess your sins to Him; all of them as the Holy Spirit reveals them. He is faithful and just to remove (cleanse) the unpardonable sin of rejecting His Spirit away from such as these.
How Many Times?
With an honest change to believe all that the Holy Spirit makes clear, the sin of rejecting Him will be pardoned (forgiven) – 1 John 1:9. How many times in a day does it take to break continued sin? One time – through as many times in a day as the Holy Spirit makes it clear.
Anyone can truly repent for a moment. Start there if that’s all you’ve got. Five hundred times a day if needed. Each time, you’ll be: believing a little more; receiving more miraculous healing from God; and breaking the continuance of rejecting the Holy Spirit.
It’s Our Decision
God will not violate our will by forgiving, cleansing, and healing us from things we don’t want Him to remove. Violation of our will in this regard would make us mere puppets. If we continue in sin after knowing better, without care to overcome the sin, we are saying to God that we don’t want His complete cleansing and forgiveness. We are then rejecting a part of His Spirit, showing that we do not believe in Him completely. This is unforgivable while maintained, but forgivable when changed.
From the time of Adam and Eve, the unforgivable sin has been to reject the full Way, Truth, and Life (Yeshua) and thus, the Holy Spirit of Yahweh God.
God has always made a way for us out of unforgivable sin. By turning to Him and believing in his complete way, truth, and life (Yeshua), and thus the Father and His Holy Spirit, we can be forgiven for all of our sins; we can reject the sin of unbelief, and it will no longer be attached to us holding us back from His Kingdom. Yeshua the Savior became the stand-in payment of sin for all who receive him completely: that is, all who turn from their sins to believe the Way, Truth, and Life that Yahweh spoke and presented to us in Yeshua. Does this mean perfection? No, it means that we respond to the Holy Spirit positively when He is convicting us of our sin.
The covering
Eventually, Adam and Eve reproached their sin (their will to reject God’s way to do another). They came out of hiding and answered Yahweh’s call to reason with Him. Their nakedness represented their will to reject the Way, Truth, and Life of God. But now, their will to listen and believe Yahweh was complete instead of partial. So He made for them a covering of animal skin for their nakedness. The blood of the animal that was sacrificed represented the blood of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. It would pay for and remove the sin of all mankind who turn back to God. Turn back to God; this is the key. The future blood of Yeshua provided a covering so that Adam and Eve could reunite with the Way, Truth, and Life of Yahweh God. With the nakedness of their unforgivable sin covered and forgiven, they could again walk in the presence of God as His friend, and receive daily healing truth from bring in fellowship with His Love.
There is only one unforgivable sin. Simply, it is to reject the Way, the Truth, and the Life as given to us continually by the Holy Spirit of Yeshua The Messiah. By rejecting Him, one blasphemes against the Holy Spirit. By rejecting him, one rejects his Kingdom. He will not force himself or his kingdom upon us in any way.
If I say that I received Yeshua but reject a full belief in his Way, Truth, and Life, then I deceive myself, reject his Spirit, and commit the unforgivable sin. But if I would turn (repent), receive and truly confess (speak honestly) that Yeshua is the complete Lord (God, leader, master) of my life, and work at following Him all the way, then his body and blood cover my past of unforgivable sin and separates it from me.
PERFECTION?
Continuing confession and repentance of sin as it comes to the surface is proof that we no longer choose to serve it. We will still fail at perfection. But we believe in Yahweh’s perfection if we fully believe in Yeshua who then becomes our perfection.
Continuation of revealed sin is symptomatic of adherence to the unforgivable sin of rejecting the complete Way, Truth, and Life of God as revealed by the Holy Spirit. Admittance, confession, and effort to walk in the provided miracle of cleansing is symptomatic of true repentance.
We must be separated from all sin before we can enter the sinless kingdom of heaven in this life or the life to come. By fully accepting the Way Truth and Life of God (Yeshua), His perfection becomes ours. Our sins are carried with him to the grave and left there; and we rise with him into his kingdom and glory. It begins in this life. We then get a foretaste of his glory in this life, and forever in the life to come.
The struggle
Those who receive Yeshua still struggle against the sin of their lower nature. They aren’t perfect in themselves. But their choice to believe in the Way, Truth, and Life of Yeshua maintains their union with him. By this union, Yeshua’s work through His death on the tree, and the grave separates them from their sins. Being separated from their sins, they gain entrance into the perfect Kingdom of Heaven. Though seen little in this life for what it is in the l>fe to comr, that entrance begins in the present.
Again, this does not mean that we never sin. The stain of sin still exists in our lower nature – or flesh. What it means is that the blood of Jesus provides a covering to separate true believers from their sins. We become separated from the lower nature that we have chosen to no longer serve and struggle against.
For those who have turned away, this is repentance and confession of sin.
1. As it comes to the surface, admit my sin to God in agreement that He is right, and that I am wrong.
2. Turn my heart, mind, and body away from every will to sin, as often as it appears; toward believing, receiving, and living every word of Yeshua; as often as it re-occurs.
It’s that simple. With admission and confession, Yahweh promises to cleanse and heal us from sin through his work of forgiveness; through the payment of Yeshua, by His sacrifice for our sins.
But I turn around and do it again
If we confess our sins (to God), he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse (including to heal and save) us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Five hundred times a day?
Even when I quickly return to sin? Yes, each time I confess my sin to God from out of a heart to believe Him, and receive his forgiveness and healing, I am healed that much more and am less susceptible to falling into it again. Part of Yeshua’s message in his teaching about seventy times seven forgiveness is that He will forgive, cleanse, and heal us as many times a day as we confess, ask, and believe Him for it.
The only way
The only way to prevent committing the unpardonable sin is to completely believe in the Way, the Truth, and the Life of God, as it is revealed to us in Yeshua our Savior. When we believe and receive him, he is our covering. And his blood separates us from all sin. Then, we can enjoy the presence of His Spirit (The Holy Spirit) and walk with him in the spiritual garden that is not of this world. It begins in this life.
When we are forgiven for all of our sins, we enter into a pre-taste of the kingdom of Heaven in this life and will explore it throughout eternity. We simply must believe in all of Yeshua and want all sin removed in every way. Working toward a goal with the purpose to achieve it is proof that we believe in it.
Do I commit it? – Many are called, but few are chosen.
Do I insist on incomplete faith, clutching even just one bad fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; hiding from Yahweh’s call?
For a good tomorrow, decide for the good today.
Come to Me, all you laboring and burdened ones, and I will give you rest; take up My yoke on you, and learn from Me, because I am meek and humble in heart, and you will find rest to your souls, for My yoke [is] easy, and My burden is light.”
“All” Is The Key. The first of the two great commands that cover all of the commands is, “Love the Lord your God with all…
Though the salvation of a true believer lies not in keeping the commands, a true believer is doing all he can to learn the Way, Truth and Life of God. As learned, a true believer does all he can to live within what he has learned.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Jesus reveals the character of God for us to live within and to reproduce.
Jesus lived on earth to reproduce the character of His Father within His true followers. He gave up his life in many ways to do this. He loved them all the way. In doing so, he loved His father all the way.
One who loves God lays down the pursuit of his life so that he can receive and learn from Jesus, and reproduce in his neighbor what he has received.
The greatest love that you can have for God is to give up all of your life for serving God and neighbor. Not as in suicide, but to give up all distraction that prevents one from seeking and serving our Lord Jesus Christ and our neighbor.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength…Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
Jesus – Mark 12:30,31
“No one has greater love than the one who gives his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.”
Jesus – John 15:13,14
Whoever wills to come after me-let him disown himself, take-up his cross, and follow me. For if you might desire to save your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and the sake of the good news, you will save it.
Jesus – Mark 8:34,35
In Matthew 19:16-30, Jesus speaks to those who believe being good enough will get them through the door into perfection on judgment day. Jesus turns the false assumption away to show that only by loving God and neighbor with self-sacrificing love can Gods perfection be applied to a man.
There are many forms of love. The kind we must have for God is that which gives up pursuit of self-interest for the pursuit of what will benefit God and neighbor, even at the cost of suffering or death. This is the greatest kind of love. And, though seemingly contrary, the greatest kind of life.
Tough as they are, our struggles can be good for us eventually.
Am I struggling for or against God? Don’t answer too quickly. We may think our goals are good. But we can easily find ourselves like Jacob, wrestling against God.
This part of Jacobs’s life is in Genesis chapters 31-33.
Was not Jacob’s wrestling a good thing? How can struggling against God be good? This was not a friendly wrestling match, just for fun. The man [Angel, God, or Jesus if you will] had a message for Jacob that Jacob wrestled against. Jacob pridefully thought that he knew better than what the ‘man’ wanted him to do; and that he needed a different blessing other than what the man had come to give. Jacob knew the man was a messenger from God with a blessing. Jacob wrestled against whatever it was that the man had told him; something like – “go and lead your family and meet Esau and then travel on to the land of your fathers. I will be with you.”
You know, Jacob wrestled as Jonah did. Jacob thought that he needed a different blessing. Jacob couldn’t see that what God had already told him to do, had the blessing and power within it to make doing it possible.
What did God want Jacob to do? Hosea saw it.
Hosea saw what God wanted Jacob to do, and what he wants all whom he calls to do today. Turn back to Yahweh. Trust Him. Have confidence and faith in Him. Act on the principles of love and justice. Live in confident dependence on Him. Hosea 12:3-7.
Trust in what he has already told you Jacob; the promises and blessings that you already have.(Gen 27:28, 28:10-17, 31:13). Now go. You’ve schemed and bribed all you can.
Now to us; go. Leave this country [of struggling against God] and return to the land of your fathers in the Lord. No longer allow fear to seclude you and stop your progress in the Lord. Have you, like Jacob, sent your whole life on ahead of you while you turn back and become the tail end of all you have accomplished? Do you hide, quivering behind your family in Christ? Are you at a standstill, struggling with God?
Seek your blessings [heavenly blessings, not earthly] from the position of trust in the direction God has given. Not fear, self-sufficiency, and hiding behind the success of your past, and the others you’ve sent ahead. Let go of struggling against God and allow Him to direct your path. You may think that you can prevail in your strength – or not. Trying fearfully in your own strength to prevail against God die to fear of His directives can leave you permanently lame, as it did to Jacob. How much more could you do with full use of your spiritual limbs.
Jacob’s fear and pride blinded him from all of these things.
1. Knowing that it was God with whom he wrestled. Jacob thought that he wrestled a man or Angel who could bless him; like Issac had blessed him. He didn’t know that it was God until after He was blessed.
2. Faith in God. Yeshua did what He saw His Father doing. Failing to trust in God’s directive blinds us from faith. Fear and pride blind us from seeing our Father giving us direction. Faith is seeing our Father at work and entering into it. Fear and self-sufficiency blind us from faith.
3. Seeing the blessing and power to do Gods will.
What is holding you back from Father’s call; God? No, he wrestles for you not against. He already gave you the blessing and ability to do all that has been revealed for you to do. Though you can’t see it, trust that he will be with you. Cross the brook of danger. Get ahead of your past success and those you’ve sent ahead to cushion your wrongly foreseen disaster.
It is time to stop wrestling against God, and patiently wait for him to open our eyes; see the work that he is doing; enter into his work: and walk powerfully toward any opposition in true faith.
Jacob struggled with the Angel and prevailed; he wept and sought His favor. He found him at Bethel, and there he spoke with him. Yahweh is the God of Hosts; Yahweh is His name. But you must return to your God. Maintain love and justice, and always put your hope in God.
Hosea 12:4-6
PRAYER
Father, In Jesus, I come and ask you to help me understand the struggling I endure while trying to find your help. Help me to know when I am struggling against you due to the fear and the disagreement with you that fear causes. Strengthen me to return and trust in you. I want to lead those you have called me to help in this life to to the land of our fathers who trusted in you. I no longer want to hide behind them, using them to cushion the dangers ahead. Let your Kingdom come, and let your will be done in this life.
The cure for addiction is promised by God for those who believe in His ways and continually admit and confess to Him, their own ways that fall short of His glory.
If we confess our sin, he is faithfull and just to forgive us our sin and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness
1 John 1:9
Tried That, it didn’t work.
Did Jesus not forgive and cleanse you, or, did you return to your addiction and quit confessing? Jesus makes good on His promises. No matter how short our time of reception, Jesus grants forgiveness, cleansing, and healing to those who side with Him and confess their sin to Him, every time.
Do you confess to Jesus during, and after the act every time? What can you lose by continuing confession to Jesus after failure? Your addiction.
Seventy-seven times
Engrain the words “seventy-seven times” (Mt 18:22) in your heart so much that every time you fail, you remember Jesus’ willingness to forgive and heal you.
Jesus taught us, his followers, to forgive one another 77 (unlimited) times every day. He will do much more for us when we confess our sin to Him. Though we may fall back many times a day, each time we turn back to believing God and confess our sin to Him, He forgives, cleanses, and heals us. Each time, our confession becomes more true; the healing – deeper; the temptation – less effective; the cure – more complete; re-occurrence – becomes less; and finally, the full cure – is accomplished.
Each time we confess, God’s promise to forgive and cleanse us is complete on His end, and at work on our end, providing faith, hope, and love which enables us to receive His completed cure.
Within the words ‘forgive’ and ‘cleanse’, Jesus offers us a miraculous work of healing from addiction and every other kind of disease.
Take these three simple steps and find yourself being changedby God. Perhaps you already have stepped here to some degree. But with God, there is always more to be found.
1. Believe God.
Make the decisionto believe that God is completely right in every way. Believe that He came to us in the form of Jesus Christ to give us His way, truth, and life; to pay the penalty for sin; and to set us free from the addiction curse that sin brings upon us.
When we believe God over our own contrary ways, we begin the first step of receiving His miracle of healing. Therein is faith. And by faith, all things are possible. If by faith we continually call upon Jesus to save us from our sin and its curse, He will save us. “All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Joel 2:32. Acts 2:21, Room.10:13.
2. Confess Re-occurring unbelief
Admit your wrongs to God, all of them, asking Him to forgive and cleanse you from them. Do this with past and present wrongs as they resurface. Every time you realize that you’ve sinned, even if you just confessed moments ago, and then turned around and to do it again, confess again for your re-occurred sin. God is faithful and right to forgive and cleanse us every time. There is no limit to how many times in a day that we can confess recommitted sin to God. He forgives and cleanses again and again. The result brings more healing and change of character every time.
Within forgiveness and cleansing, beyond the cleansing of our record in Heaven, Jesus begins a miracle work of cleansing to our spirit, soul, mind, and body. It’s a miraculous work that is far beyond what we can do for ourselves.
Admission of need
Admission of need, and confession of sin, enables us to receive from Jesus the forgiveness and healing that we need. We cannot receive from God that which we don’t admit need of. God will never force His will upon us. He will never make us His puppet. His love has given to us free will. He will never violate free will by changing what we don’t really want changed. Forgiveness and healing from addiction can be received from God only by those who truly believe God and admit their need of being changed.
Letting go
When we admit and confess our sins to God, we are letting go of them. He takes them upon himself. Jesus is beyond the past, present, and future. He took our admitted sin upon himself and suffered its penalty. The penalty was – separation from God the Father, shame, suffering, death on a cross, and a sentence in hell; all of the things that we deserved. He was then raised from death and hell. He had no personal sin of his very own with which to be locked in hell. Jesus, in His perfection, rose from the dead and left our confessed sin in hell. This happened long ago, once and for all. But within Jesus Christ, every time we admit, confess, and release our sin to him, it is left in hell, and our deliverance from it happens in the now. If this sounds confusing, think about this. God is beyond our time restrictions. In time, his payment for our sin happened long ago. As we live within Jesus, who is beyond time, his release from hell happens for us in the now, when we confess our sin, every time. Jesus doesn’t go through crucifixion over and over, but his sacrifice continually functions for us every time we admit and confess our sin to him. When we confess our sin to God, he mixes our time with his attribute of being in the past, present, and future, and applies his payment to our time.
As we learn to receive God’s forgiveness through true belief and confession, the cleansing of the spirit, soul, and body takes place [1 John 1:9]. The more we practice admission and confession of sin, the more forgiveness we are enabled to receive. Received forgiveness gives us healing from our paralyzing condition, enabling us to walk in God’s rightness, and thus, deliverance from addiction.
Jesus taught that forgiveness can heal the paralyzed. The addicted have some paralyzed mind and character.
“Which is easier to say to the paralyzed man: ‘Your Sins are forgiven’, or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk?” (Mark 2:9).
Why stay paralyzed? As a true believer of the way, truth, and life of Yeshua (Jesus), practice confession of contrary ways to Him moment by moment as they surface. To the degree that we truly do this, He is faithful and right to forgive and cleanse our spirit, soul, and body. You will be amazed.
3. Walk in the Spirit of Christ
This step comes naturally as we practice the other two. Walking in the Spirit is the alternative to walking in sin. In the Holy Spirit, we hunger and thirst for knowing God’s words, presence, and the people in whom He lives. His love is the motivation for all that we do. In the spirit of Christ, we serve God and neighbor, helping to release the captives of all types of addiction, sowing seeds of healing.
One of the many marvels of walking in the spirit of Christ is, since we plant seeds that produce a harvest of release from bondage, we also harvest the same kind of release in abundance.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I can see my need to confess my sins of addiction as they occur. From the least to the enormous, I now confess them and choose to continue confessing them to you as they occur. Deliver me from my hardness of heart. Open my eyes and ears to your way, truth, and life more with each confession of failure. Your presence is healing, and I invite you to do your work of cure to all of my addictions, be they thought or deed, as I confess my failures to you.
Mary felt more empty than the tomb in front of her. Yeshua was gone! Her last faint connection to him, his lifeless body, was gone! What had happened? Had He been moved? As she shook from her sobbing, tears sprinkled the ground. She turned and saw a man through tear-blurred eyes, whom she thought to be a gardener.
The man said “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you seeking?”
She cried, “Sir if you have taken him, tell me where you have laid him and I will take him away.”
Then, between heavy sobs, Mary heard him speak her name! “Rabboni!” she cried.
LISTEN
“You stand there like Mary looking into an empty tomb, sobbing, wondering at what has happened; thinking that I am no longer with you. I am near, but you think I am only a gardener. I ask about your sorrow, but you don’t know it’s me. Listen carefully. If you do, you will hear me call your name; you will turn and know who calls you.”
RUN
“Run to the empty tomb within you, run! Run like Peter and the other disciple, running to the empty tomb. Go inside. Find the wrappings. Look at them. Understand that I am not there. You won’t find me in the old creature, the old tomb within you where I was dead. Now come out of the tomb of the old you. Look for me outside of the old person where I lay dead. See the new being that you are within me. There is no empty grave in the new being. Let the dust return to dust. I am revealed in the new man”
From John 20:3-8
LISTEN
“Liston for my call from outside of the tomb – the unbelieving you. Let the new you believe in me. From there you can hear my voice and know my love as I speak your name.”
From the heavens and the earth, I speak your name.
From the broken, sick, imprisoned, hungry, lost, abused, persecuted, poor, naked, and lonely; I speak your name.
Sorrow no more at the empty place. Its hold on the dead man has been fulfilled. Hear me say your name. Turn to me and know that it is truly I. Know that I am not dead, but alive and with you.
Liston for me to say your name. You may think of me as a gardener. But when you hear me call your name, you’ll turn and see who calls. You’ll know that I am with you.”
New Person To Whom Yeshua Calls
We can see the lack of faith and belief within our old self and mistake it for lack within the new creation that we are in Christ. Within our old self is a tomb where Yeshua (Jesus) lay dead and was resurrected. He is not there. No longer look for him there. As Jesus did for Mary Magdela, Jesus speaks to us outside of the tomb (the old being that we once were). Let the old being no longer plague you with its unbelief. Turn away from it. Turn away from your empty place where Jesus was dead to you.
Listen for Jesus calling your name. We may not recognize his voice at first. But as we turn away from the empty place (the old self) and see who it is that calls our name, we begin to see him better for who he is, alive and with the new person that we are in him.
Sobbing and apathy will be turned into joy and hope.
The coat (cloak) represents the earthly things that we depend on to keep us warm, comfortable and to protect us from life-threatening elements. The things that we depend on are what our hope and devotion get applied to. In his call for us to sell these things, Yeshua (Jesus) leads us to separate ourselves from dependency on the things of earth so that we have the time and means for pursuing the life that is not of the earth, but heaven.
When the call to separate ourselves from dependency on earthly things is answered, our true earthly needs are promised. We no longer need to devote ourselves to earthly satisfaction or survival. We cannot devote ourselves to serving the things of earth and the things God at the same time.
This doesn’t mean to quit our job. That would be like a bird that refuses to fly in search of the food and nesting that have been provided for him. He doesn’t plant, harvest, and store up provision, but he does search for what God provides; or like a flower that refuses to stretch its roots through the ground and its leaves to the sun. Simply put, the birds and plants aren’t so devoted to provision and want that they fail to enjoy flight, sun, air, nutrients, and doing their special jobs. They simply accept what is provided and live.
Yeshua is teaching us the importance and benefit of selling our devotion and service to earthly things (our cloak) to buy a very special sword. A sword that has spiritual power from heaven. A sword that we can depend on to do more for ourselves and our loved ones than the whole world of earthly things could ever do. A sword that does good things that can only come down from heaven and will keep us busy about our Father’s business.
The cost of this sword is our love, trust, devotion, and want for the things and ways of the world. We can sell them to God in exchange for the sharpest and most durable sword that ever was, is, or will be.
The sword
We cannot devote ourselves to obtaining this sword and the things of the earth at the same time. And we don’t need to try. When devoted to buying this sword, our earthly need is provided by God in the same way that He provides for the Raven and the Lilly of the field. It may not be the provision our old nature craves, but with our coat, we are buying a sword that our new nature can use for victory in every area.
The sword is the “sword of the spirit”. The sword of the spirit is the word of God, enlivened by the Holy Spirit of Yeshua (Jesus). The Holy Spirit is the spiritual presence of Yahshua on earth and in the lives of his people.
The written and the living word of God are different. One is knowledge. The other is the knowledge of God’s word with his Spirit revealing the meaning, removing all doubt, and turning it into the true kind of faith, activated within our deepest being. The smallest of true faith can remove mountains and trees of opposition with all of their roots.
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, joints, and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12
Have you heard of the “treasure hidden in a field” or, “the pearl of great price? The living word of God (Yeshua, the sword of the spirit), brings the Kingdom of Heaven to earth to become engaged with and devoted to those who devote themselves to him.
This is the treasure hidden in a field and the pearl of great price. The living word of God is of such great value that we could never buy him though we sell all we have. But the Lord accepts what we offer when we sell to him our earthly wants from out of our eyes so that we can see the value of him. Seeing the vast treasure of his presence and provision eliminates the need for the treasures of the earth. Yeshua is the sword of the spirit. He, in oneness with His followers is the treasure. He provides all that is needed for us to answer his call. The value of his reward is beyond all of the cosmos.
Pursuit, accumulation, and enjoyment of the things of earth occupy the devotion and time that a man has in this life. Man generally depends on worldly things for protection, peace, and joy. To sell the cloak is to turn from these to pursue, live, and enjoy life through the living word of God. When we devote ourselves to believing, knowing, and serving Yahweh God through Yeshua, His living word and sword, all things we need like provision, protection, peace, joy, relationships, work, play, and rest are promised in ways beyond measure, and that without worry and sickly side effects.
Why don’t we see more of this kind of provision? Well, how much do we sell our cloak to buy the sword? And when we do sell our cloak, how much of our selling is truly motivated by the pursuit of the sword instead of a means to more earthly things as though we are buying the sword from an earthly King. How much of the cloak is truly sold to buy the Sword Of The Spirit? Generally, we the church score pretty poorly on these questions. If it wasn’t so, we would be seeing a much greater amount of victory in every area.
If you find yourself addicted to dependency and devotion to your cloak, please see the article: “Addiction – The Sure Cure,” on this site.
Please pray with me.
Our Father in Heaven, I confess the hold that I have on my coat – the things of earth that provide comfort and joy against the elements and adversity of this world. I determine to sell them and the time-consuming pursuit and enjoyment of them, to buy the Sword of your Spirit
I now look for the treasure from above, which is your Word, enlivened by your Spirit; your Word which was made flesh and lived among us; your Word – Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah (Savior); Yeshua, who returned to earth in the Holy Spirit to continue giving true life from above to all who place their hope and faith in him; Yeshua, the living word of Yahweh; Yeshua, the Sword of the Spirit.
Yeshua, Sword of the Holy Spirit, we deny our affections for the things of earth, so that we can use our time and devotion for becoming filled with the heavenly treasure of your way, truth, and life; to pursue you and become filled with you, the sword of the Spirit whom is sharper than any other; to be enabled to cut through flesh and bone to the marrow, and then through to where soul and spirit meet.
I sell my coat to buy this sword, and with it, to become effective against the enemy at speaking your life to the lost, miss-led, oppressed, sick, and dying.
I praise and thank you for providing my work and needs. I determine to commit the work of my hands to your glory, the glory of your sword, and the work it will do; reaching deep into the thought and intent of hearts; opening eyes and ears to see and hear who you are.
I give up my life (coat) to buy the sword of the Spirit, for your benefit and that of my friends.
In my need, I have drawn closer to the holy spirit of Jesus, and he has drawn closer to me.
Because of being closer to Jesus, I am made stronger.
I am learning that Jesus is sufficient for me and fulfills me in ways that humans can not.
I should not expect from a friend or mate what can only be found in relationship with God.
It is possible to be content with no friend near, but never without Jesus.
A person who is contented by Jesus makes the best friend or mate.
Loneliness subsides as contentedness in Jesus is found.
To be a friend who is content is more important than having a friend.
Contentment in Christ Jesus makes one the most attractive to another who is of the same mind.
For the redeemed, loneliness, like all kinds of trials, can be counted on to bring joy over time. Though God is not the author of sin (personal or that of others), confusion, or anything of the sort that can bring loneliness on, he uses trials to do wonderful work within the deepest part of the soul; things like patience, which gives trust, belief, and enjoyment of the true riches and good things (not those of earth) that come down to us from Heaven.
Make time to seek the true bread and riches from heaven.
Get our heart and mind off of bodily desire through the denial of its cravings.
Devote our time and interest to seeking God for the spiritual and physical needs of Yeshua and others instead of satisfying our wants.
Seek the bread from Heaven: the bread of life, the word of God, the Way, Truth, and Life of Yeshua, the kingdom that is not of this world in any way – never earthly bread or things.
Seek of the need of Yeshua and others before that of self.
Seek to become more like Yeshua.
Correct fasting is to seek the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. It is to seek Him first above everything on earth. When we truly seek God, He makes Himself known to us. Faith is knowing God. When we truly know Him, He lives within us and He is the essence of our faith. The presence of Yeshua is why the smallest seed of faith can enable us to receive anything we ask of God. Rightful fasting is not done to impress Yahweh.
God reveals Himself not because we impress him or prove anything by our self-denial, but because we sacrifice our time and energy through fasting to seek, find and receive more revelation of Him. He reveals Himself to those who truly search for Him. His revealed word is bread from His mouth. We eat it and become nourished by His presence. His presence within us is our rightness, faith, love, and power, which exceeds this world.
Fasting, self-sacrifice, and self-denial to try to impress or purchase anything from God are useless, harmful, and in step with trying to obtain help from God by keeping the old covenant law. Living by the law, one does the right things and sacrifices to cause God to notice, have mercy, and perform. Yahweh desires that our beliefs and works be motivated by love, not by keeping laws to cause him to perform.
God works for us motivated by his love for us. He keeps his law but he works because of love. We should do the same for him.
New Covenant law is the law of love. Within it, our first motive for all we do is love for God and our neighbor, not to earn anything. Trying to earn Yahweh’s help assumes that He never paid, through the death and resurrection of his word (Yeshua) for us to have it. Yeshua (the word of Yahweh) paid for our reward with His life. Yeshua is free to all who will come and dine at His banquet table. His table is set in fine detail, full of his wisdom. Godly fasting is done to remove distractions, dine at Yahweh’s table, and eat His word. God is love; His word is love; to know Him and to live, being nourished by His word, is love. The new covenant law is to love and live the way, truth, and life of Yeshua. Rightful fasting is to search, eat, drink, and be filled with Him.
The vessels on the table are full of delectable words which contain many exciting elements not previously known. Only with time and focus can these elements be revealed to man; the time and focus that require a true love of knowing; love that will sacrifice other things that compete for our attention. By fasting, we turn to set our affections on things above; on the word of Yahweh, Yeshua, the Holy Spirit, life, and love.
We know that we need faith to receive anything from the Lord. If there is a shadow of a doubt, it’s not faith. Faith is knowing and understanding the word of God (Yeshua). As we know and understand Him, He lives within us and is Himself our faith. With Yeshua as our faith, we know His will and can do his will regardless of earthly impossibilities.
Yeshua, the word of Yahweh, reveals Himself to those who search, ask, and knock on the door for Him. He lives to be the understanding and revelation of His word within them. Fasting away from the nourishment of earth to sit at the table of nourishment from heaven for the cause of Godly love is true Godly fasting.
Look at it. The paralytic raised such a noise that people were telling him, “shut up, you’re bothering the master (and us)”. But he continued to stake a claim for Jesus’s attention and was enabled to walk.
Yeshua knew what the paralytic was saying the whole time. The constant pleading brought the paralytic to the place where he could know it, and thus to the place of faith in God whom he knew to be true.
So, 1. Know God. Seek for Him and you’ll find Him. It’s that simple. 2. Keep up the pleading. Don’t worry what others or even what God thinks. Eventually, you’ll know that He has heard you and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is knowing God and what He’ll do. The smallest amount of faith can move mountains and pluck up trees of resistance by the roots.
Finding my measure of faith and using it to cry out to God is priceless.
Out of my distress I cried to Yahweh and he answered me,
from the belly of Shoel I cried out; you heard my voice!
Jonah 1:3
Through suffering; Jonah, Moses, the Israelites in the desert, David, Samson, Joseph, the Profits, and on and on into the new testament Disciples, and myriads of believers after, through their suffering, they cried out to God.
At times their cries included contempt for God. Yet while reproving them for their contempt, Yahweh lovingly answered their cries.
The value of answers from God far outweighs avoidance of suffering. God’s loving answers are eternal. Life on earth is less than a grain of dust in the universe compared to eternity.
We may not understand much about suffering, but we know so little about eternity, Heaven, and the need for us to cry out for God’s help. We desperately need his help for us to overcome the world so that we can enter to walk in the eternal Holy Spirit.
How does it work?
When out of desperation we cry out to God, we use our little measure of faith. When used, faith is increased. Faith is our communication trail to God. With use, the trail is cleared.
With little use, a trail returns to being the forest growing things, littered with fallen obstacles, hard to traverse. With little use, the trail of faith returns to the world.
Through faith in God, nothing is impossible. The suffering that causes us to know Yahweh better becomes valuable in that light.
Avoid suffering?
What if we find our measure of faith and work at using it before the need of suffering? Though I do not claim to understand all about suffering, common sense tells us that the habitual use of faith for walking with God will help prevent the need for suffering as a cause for us to find and use it.
Since the need for a faithful relationship with God is a huge reason for suffering, then a faithful relationship of walking in the Holy Spirit with God eliminates a huge amount of suffering. Much is against us in this. Walking in the Holy Spirit is work, but a good one. Through faith in Jesus Christ, all things are possible.
